“Wish I booked elsewhere. Not sure about the overall ratings Expedia shows for this place. Check-in: Waited 10 minutes or more. Cost is unrefundable. Needed a 2nd night stay without knowing the dread. Re-entry into hotel was controlled by a button at the check-in counter but staff were hardly there. Value: Not worth it. Paid more for 2nd night. “Wonderful! We couldn’t have wished for such a warm and restful stay! A beautiful house, managed by an amazing family! The views of the hills in the distance and the staghorn plants that surround as you take a dip in the pool are incredibly peaceful. The breakfast was amazing, the neighbors and the shop up the road were so kind. We walked to grocrey stores and restaurants every evening! We will be back every time we visit Trinidad. ”

I saw from last year other guests suggested a few things that would make a guest’s stay much more enjoyable but those things one year later has not been done. We stayed for carnival and the distance to events held in the Savannah was amazing. “The property was beautiful. The room was comfortable and met every need. Enjoyed the pool and the quiet. The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. Host and staff were gracious and helpful. ”
