โNice hotel, very comfortable and nice rooms, spa could use updating, pool etc is grubby, restaurant and food was lovely, menu could use a few more veggie options but what we had was lovely, staff great too.. overall a lovely stay.. โ
โGorgeous rooms, very helpful staff and very accommodating when we were a little late coming in for breakfast. This is our second stay here and my only regret is not spending more time in the pub/hotel to enjoy the atmosphere. โ
โGreat place to stay, nice walks nearby. Hotel looks newly freshened up. Great decor and style. Staff are lovely. Could do with a mirror also in the bedroom as once you have had a shower the one in the bathroom takes a while for the steam to go. Also if your partner is in there you can't get ready to you can use the bathroom mirror.

We stayed in an executive room this time - we liked the extra space and would book this again. โAll I needed was a single bed with a shower, WC and basin. That I got - for under ยฃ50. Remarkably good value for Berkshire. It was all very easy, the areas nice, and the man who greeted me and said goodbye was very friendly and obliging. I'll certainly come back when I'm next in the area โ
