Really nice rooms. Perfectly clean

We needed a place to stay overnight as we drove from Sydney to Dubbo. We were pleasantly surprised with the Black Gold Motel! The rooms were simple but clean. Water pressure, hot water, linens all very good. But really the exceptional breakfast won us over.

All good

We got in late, which was no drama and the heater was going as well as the electric blanket!! awesome !!

What a beautiful place to stay. The room was very spacious. The bed was very comfy.. The bathroom was lovely but the water from the shower went all over the floor and it took 2: bathmats and a towel to mop it up. The breakfast was plentiful and reasonably priced for the sizes. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend to others

Let's first talk about Glenn. He is the desk attendant who greets you upon your arrival. Very knowledgeable of the area, where to eat, great customer service attitude, etc. The motel is located in a short walkable distance from the Clarendon train stop. The room was very clean, and spacious. The bed extremely comfortable. I only stayed one night, but after 14 hour flight on a military cargo aircraft. The bed and dwelling definitely gave me the rest and relaxation I required. 5 stars across the...

Cozy rooms nice area

Amazing and supportive Manager

Everything was amazing. Recommend it to everyone

Very clean, almost new, recommend.

Was only here for a night, but the location was good and it had every we needed for that time. They had DVD's in the lobby I assume you could borrow, but no DVD players in the rooms. I don't know if we could have borrowed a DVD player as well if we had asked, but that was a cool little bonus I wasn't expecting before checking in.

Great place to stay if you are visiting Blue Mountains. With car hire we were able to get to activities early before the hoards on buses came in from Sydney. This hotel may not look like much from the outside but rooms are wonderful inside with solid wood everywhere and very well maintained. We especially liked walking short distance into the town to try out various small town dining and entertainment. The couple that owns and rents this take care of everything and care about the place. We...

Spacious clean room, staff on arrival was very helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking and located near the mall, cafes and other well known stores.

Great

This exceeded my expectations of a motel. Very comfortable stay- thank you

Excellent clean room, with no outside noise. Double bed was a little soft for our liking. Friendly staff who cared about the motel.

If you plan on going to the blue Mountains for hiking, Coumba and this hotel are an excellent place to stay. I enjoyed my days there and the staff were very helpful. You can do laundry on the property for coins. It is a nice sizable apartment for this solo traveler.

Staff was wonderful! Although Hotels.com’s description of the room was a “2 bedroom” (traveling with niece) it really wasn’t. The staff was very accommodating when I needed to book an additional room for my niece.
