Beautiful view and many activities. Food and drinks were great!

I think this hotel was pretty good with pros and cons. I would stay away from the Family side beach with the people selling souvenirs over there as it is very weird as well as the staff is 50-50 with rude and nice people. The room was very clean as well as the property was clean There was a lot of bug bugs, but they were all dead never did I see one alive. I saw a lot dead though lol so they’re doing something right I guess I would honestly recommend this if you’re going for more of a chill vibe. The food was extremely good honestly the Indian restaurant specifically

We spent our honeymoon at Sunset at the Palms and it was truly a peaceful and relaxing escape. The resort has a calm, intimate atmosphere, and the beach was always quiet—perfect for unwinding. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Concierge team checked in on us almost every day to make sure we were enjoying our stay, which was much appreciated. The service overall was excellent, and the food was fresh and flavorful. Our room was clean and comfortable, with daily housekeeping available upon request. We did notice a few small bugs here and there, and we got a few bites from sand flies at night, but it wasn’t a big issue. We’re not very familiar with the tipping culture, so we hope our appreciation was still felt. With kind people, good food, and reggae music playing in the background, it was a lovely and memorable honeymoon.

Great time but know before you go... Family of 4 (kids 20 and 15) went for a week. The food was good with wide selection, resort was quiet at night and no noise between rooms. There was no problem getting chairs during day at beach or pool (not a lot of pool shade). The resort was very walk-able to restaurants, etc. They had synchronized swimmers/dancers on Sunday afternoon at the main pool which was super cool. The staff was hit or miss, either they were the best or they seemed to loathe their jobs. The pool bars were routinely great but we were yelled at one day for wanting fresh beach towels after turning sandy towels in to go to lunch. Check in was a nightmare. We arrived early and had no expectation that our room would be ready but we stood in line at least an hour. After we checked in, and while we waited for our room we were approached by the sales people trying to give us a welcome breakfast the next day and a sales talk. They say that you get "two free massages at the spa." You will have to say no multiple times, and I am glad I did! Friends we met down there did it, and told us the "two free massages" are actually hydro-massages in a hot tub at the spa. Buy water shoes before you go. We got ours at Walmart for about $6/pair. You will need for Dunn's River and Blue Hole. Dunn's is a must. Blue Hole is great use the life jacket! Google blue hole death. Luminous Lagoon was okay but I'd do a taxi next time instead of a tour. Cheaper and less time.
