โIf youโre looking for an affordable place to sleep and have a hot shower near the Padre Island National Seashore this is a great place. Itโs not fancy but the air conditioning was ice cold and the rooms are clean and equipped with microwaves and refrigerators. There are several food options around and itโs minutes from the entrance to the national seashore. The owners were friendly also. โ

โLoved it! Great easy beach access! For it to be an older hotel it was nice and clean but the only thing I would suggest is the minor maintenance on the building looks like the already started renovating.โ
โWe had a very good stay. The only thing I have that was misleading was the water pictures. We could not do anything by the water. The dock was for another area not included with Lodge. Confusing to us we thought it was included for lodge use. We were down here for family visit.Swimming pool was awesome.โ
โWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel had all the creature-comforts, and the inside of the property was clean. The parking lot could use a little attention. Staff was super friendly. Only thing we didn't like is that breakfast stopped serving very early. It was over by 9.โ
โI chose this based on good reviews, but it turned out to be a bad choice. There was a smell coming from the microwave, and the bathroom bathtub had been painted, but the paint came off and clogged the drain. The bathtub was messy because the paint had peeled off.
I will never go again.โ
