We liked that this hotel was conveniently close to an event we were attending and the front desk lady really did all she could to try to resolve the many issues we had upon entering our room. Dislikes….room was not cleaned (dirt/food crumbs still on floor and counters; still had food in fridge; shower didn’t drain; sink had a steady leak (couldn’t shut it off); under the bed covers there was hair/food crumbs; sticky beverage had spilled on top of side table and all over floor; AC wasn’t working so room was 85 degrees…slept on top of the covers with slider open which allowed all the street noise in, even with being 6 floors up. We checked in late in the evening and had to be up early to get to our event so we tried to make the best of the situation. In the morning we spoke with the front desk. She got us a different room for the next night that was clean, had working AC and a draining shower. This is an older hotel that really is in dire need of some updating. Might be ok for some but we will definitely stay elsewhere next time.

The staff were nice and welcoming. The place just needs some love and updates. The beds were clean and room was decent size, but the place smelled of pee and there was random things all over the carpets and stuff on the stairs. Hope they can do some updates and get some more workers to make the place better.

After checking in I went to my room and it was musty and hot. Turned on the AC but it just never really cooled down. I notified staff the next morning and they would check on it. It was determined that AC was not working and moved me rooms. Well that room wasn't cool and don't think it could get below 75deg. Morning of checkout there was a cockroach near the toilet and that was worrisome. When checking out I talked to Sara about my stay and the warm rooms and then showed her a picture of the cockroach. She said it was unacceptable and would refund my whole stay. She said I would have to have expedia call them and they would make the refund. After lots of explanation to expedia the hotel manager then said Sara was not allowed to refund my whole stay and could only give me 35 off each night. I've stayed at this hotel every year the last 4 years and it just gets worse and worse. This hotel isn't just for Boise visitors I believe they host certain program of people. Some staff are just very grumpy and not accommodating. Price wise it's great but it's rundown and they are just trying to stay afloat.

Staff was welcoming and nice. The hotel in the other hand was a little dirty. It seemed like a vacuum exploded in the hall with crumbs and q-tips across the floor.

This property is not being taken care of adequately. The first room we were in was not clean, had 6 light bulbs out, a non-working phone, a sink that would not drain, air conditioner not working and missing a blow dryer among other issues. We were charged to a better room that was cleaner. The halls and elevator were dirty. Staff was pleasant but obviously over extended.
