"I have to say , WOW! Both me and my husband enjoyed our stay so much at the Dakota . We originally booked a king room for our last two days to relax before our flight . After our first night , though the room was stunning , but we decided we wanted to indulge. I went down to reception where Brooke helped us , and organized a suite for the remainder of our stay . They allowed us to relax in our previous room until the suite was ready , which was before normal check in time (3pm) . Bringing us into the room shortly after 12pm. If you go to this hotel , I highly recommend upgrading . Though the entry level rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable , the suites are truly an experience. Every need is met before you even have to ask , and the staff were incredible . During our stay in Scotland we visited 4 hotels , and this was by far the best hospitality we received. The champagne service is such a lovely touch as well ! It was the most relaxed and calm we’ve been during our entire trip . Thank you so much to the entire Dakota staff (especially Brooke and David ) for making it truly amazing . We will definitely be back !"

"The place is about 15 mins from the airport and near in Oldtown, just ride 1 bus to get there. The only problem we experienced is no bath curtain and no instruction how to turn on the shower."

"The 10 bed female pod room was very clean. The beds were nice and they had a usb c plug and a usb plug. The staff was also very kind and super helpful. Its location was super convenient and nice, and the little restaurant in the lobby was great too!"

"The Apex was in a good location, with everything within walking distance. Bus stops within a few minutes walk. Waverley station about 13 mins walk. The hotel room was spacious, clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good with plenty of hot & cold choice. The staff members were very helpful. I would consider staying here again when I am next visiting Edinburgh. "
