A motel conjures up thoughts of a 70's horror flick, in saying that they exterior of the motel seems to be mid upgrade. The check in was fast and efficient, note that we checked in at the hotel across the parking lot possibly due to us fishing late and checking in late. We stayed in room 217 (ground floor) and was extremely surprised by the updated room based on the look of the exterior. Room was spotless, beds were great, stand up shower/bathroom was spotless. I took up 4 parking spots and charged my boat over night with no issues. Will definately come back again.

the room was well appointed and clean. one neighbor had a loud exhaust and made sure to let everyone else in the motel know every few hours. another neighbor had two loud dogs. fun! not very restful

Not sure why we ended up having to get a second floor kitchenette there seem to be a lot of available ones on the lower floor and the air conditioner was not working in the room and we had a lot of stuff to transfer so we didn’t the first night

No reception at all, you had to go yo neighboring hotel for reception.no dining area in the facility, air conditioner was old and didn't cool properly and very noisy. Our room was delux two queen size beds with kitchenette. However there was no regular size fridge, very limited kitchenware, no kitchen knife. No place to dry dishes. No ironing board, no iron or steamer, only 5 hangers for clothes. No water bottle. Overall, terrible. Roon was 149+ fees per night , absolutely didn't worth it.

I was pleasantly surprised with the conditiom of the room. The website is a bit confusing with photos from both the El Lobo and Lakeland motel being "sister companies". Wasn't sure what type of room I was booking. One thing I would like implemented for safety reasons is this: when your key card doesn't work and it needs to be reprogrammed, plz as for ID. I went once and my husband went once to have this done. Neither time we were asked to confirm our identity, just given new keys.
