"We called ahead to ask what to bring they said it was one step above a tent, our cabin was lovely, slept four very clean had a space heater,refrigerator,ceiling fan .We brought sleeping bags and cooked on a open fire they do provide a grill and a fire pit. "This place could become a gem if owners would put money into up keep. It is kind of sad. That external maintenance has been neglected. If they just hired a landscape company to take care of and enhance the grounds(not just mow) would go a long way"

"Our one night stay was very comfortable and pleasant. My only less than stellar comment, is that I booked the stay because it had a hot tub and swimming pool. We had hiked and wanted to sooth our muscles! They were out of service. I wish this had been on the booking page, as I would have chosen a different spot! "

The room wasn't bad at all and the location was convenient. The free breakfast was nice but a little lacking. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area."

"Everything was consistent with a highly-rated facility - the staff was way better than most 5-star motels. The bed was very good, but the covers were tight-weave polyester and therefore too hot for comfort. The front of the Motel is steps away from the busiest highway in Boone (and will have construction for the next few weeks); the entrance (on the other side) was very good and that side was much quieter. All-in-all will deserve a higher rating on expedia!"
