We were very happy with the hotel and the pool was a big bonus on a hot day. The location was close to the airport and with the tram nearby it was very easy getting to downtown Bordeaux for dinner. We would recommend this hotel and stay there in the future.

Nice hotel, walking distance, 10 minutes, from the Bordeaux airport. Staff was great. I was traveling with a bike case and when there wasn’t room for with other passengers’ luggage, the staff made a quick second run to the airport.

Ideal for overnight sleepover if you are on an early flight the next morning. As regards the minibus transfer service: From the airport make sure you call the hotel as they will send the minibus, but get precise directions to the pickup point, as it is not well signposted. (Basicallly from hall A cross over the tram lines turn right and walk to the end of the paved area. There is a sign, but it is only visible from the roadway.) To the airport the minibus runs to a schedule during the daytime.

A night in Bordeaux

We spent one night at the hotel, after we had a long flight from LAX. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport. The receptionist was very friendly. Breakfast was very good, many varieties of hot and cold food.

Really convenient

We arrived late after flight delay which meant we were too late to take advantage of the shuttle bus. However the next morning they took us back to the airport as soon as we were ready. Great service

Genuinely disappointed, primarily with the staff whose attitude smacked of contempt (rude, inpatient and dismissive). We would have ‘dealt’ with the dirty nature of our room had the staff been more willing to provide genuine hospitality but put the two together and I rate this hotel, of the many I’ve stayed in, one of the worst. Unfortunately in-laws are staying there in a few weeks. I’ll make sure they find a more suitable option before then. At least it’s close to the airport.

Perfectly fine for my short stay.

Great buffet breakfast variety and quality. Quiet room. No AC control as always… But like most Mercure hotels, I found that they have seen better days. I little tired, and not up to date.
