"The rooms were clean, the parking is great and if you travel by train its opposite the station. There is no food options for dinner, but you can order in and sit in the dinning room, which is lovely and charming. I love this hotel. I think its run for and by YMCA(but could be wrong)."

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Taunton. We had a spacious, well-appointed room on the third floor with a nice view of the town. The hotel is an older building with lots of historic details / decor so it has a nice vibe. Daily room service kept everything clean and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is amazing: steps from the high street shops, cafes and pubs - you can't beat it. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again next time were in Taunton."

"Excellent property….vey well managed, beautifully presented, very clean and functional. Staff were extraordinary with a particular shout out to Mel who went above and beyond to make us welcome and is a beautiful cook as well. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this property. 5 stars is not enough."

"Clean and tidy. Bedroom smelt like someone had smoked in there before me. Parking good. No staff (which was advertised to be fair and the codes worked!). No hot water for the morning shower and no one to alert. Overall, average but ok for a place to sleep for the night."
