"Property is well maintained, with a friendly staff at check-in. The rooms are spacious, Wi-Fi is available in room and in campus, speed is good like 35Mbps download.
The food served has variety."

"The whole experience was terrible from this hotel as the hotel is far away from the main road and road to the hotel is not lighted up in the night and feels unsafe. The hotel staff is not friendly and unable to assist. The room did not have water supply and buckets of water was provided to do daily activities which was very inconvenient as travelling with aged parents. Hotel electricity was not available constantly for many hours and there is no backup generator. Many rooms were empty. There is...

"This is a 3 star hotel located about 1.5 miles from the Mahabodhi temple and the Bodhi tree. (When I booked it, the map showed it being very close, but it isn't.) It mostly caters to an Asian audience (Indian, Thai, Tibetan). The restaurant is excellent, as are its prices. (I would order a la carte instead of doing buffets). The room is a bit old and quite small. The bathroom was very nice. The staff is for the most part very friendly and helpful. "

"This is - to me - the best stay in Bodhgaya. Its down a quiet side road, away from the hustle & noise of the main street & just the atmosphere and energy of the place is so perfect. Simple, homey & elegant - it is rare to find a place with this kind of style & simple grace. For someone who wants a mix of a truly peaceful natural place to rest after busy Bodhgaya days - its ideal & Pappu is a true gentleman, trustworthy, full of knowledge about India and its mystic history - theres real love &...

Hotel Review: Warning for Potential Guests
We booked this hotel for two days with my parents, sister, and her kids, paying more than double the usual rate due to the Pitrapaksha season. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
Upon arrival, the reception staff were unresponsive and unprofessional. We waited 40 minutes to check in, only to find that the room was underwhelming and not worth the high price. The bathroom was in poor condition, with water dripping and a broken hook on the...

"What a great place to stay. It's only 15 minute walk to the Mahabodhi Temple and Kalachakra Grounds, but in the middle of nature, right on the bank of the beautiful Naranjana River. You can see the Mahabodhi Temple right from the hotel itself, too. We had a great stay. The staff was professional and helped with every need that came up during my 9 day stay. Highly recommended!"

"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Nirvana Grand, Gaya. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and truly lives up to its name. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable with all modern amenities.
The staff was extremely polite, cheerful, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The restaurant served delicious food and the overall service was quick and professional.
The highlight for me was the calm ambiance, away from the hustle of the city, yet well connected to the main areas. The pool, garden, and event spaces add to the charm, making it not just a stay but an experience.
I would highly recommend Nirvana Grand for anyone visiting Gaya or Bodhgaya – whether for pilgrimage, leisure, or events. A perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and serenity."

"My stay was terrible on many counts. Most importantly, the GM was rude and discourteous and not inclined to take feedback. There are many other issues but the main issue of rude behaviour is the main factor I will never consider this hotel again. "
