After flying all night and taking the train from Copenhagen, we arrived late and exhausted—but were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. They greeted us with smiles, kindness, and understanding, and were both helpful and efficient throughout our stay. They offered great recommendations, including a nearby restaurant (Plates), where to do laundry, as well as information about the pool and self-service kitchen. "The hotel is in an ideal spot for Legoland & Lalandia Waterpark. However the hotel felt more like a hostel with the rooms being very basic and having to make up & strip the bed linen, which we were not expecting, considering the price. The buffet breakfast was good with plenty of options, especially the pancake making for the kids. It was also great to have fresh bean to cup coffee to set us up for busy days. The buffet dinner was adequate after a long day swimming, but there are better and tastier options in Billund. Overall it was an average hotel, which is saved from a lower rating by its location next to Legoland. "
