โSorry we were only spending one night in this wonderful place. From the warm welcome by the owner on arrival, restaurant recommendation for the evening and freshly squeezed orange juice from their own orchard as part of the delicious breakfast, and did I mention really comfy beds, it was a real find. I would highly recommend.โ
โTruly amazing! Beautiful room, views and pool area. The food in the restaurant was splendid. The only thing that was a bit strange was that breakfast had to be pre-ordered the night before, and coffee/tea was not included. And they have no lunch. I guess my feedback is that they should have more food options available. Another note to future visitors - the mountain road up to the hotel was a bit difficult if you have a smaller car. But other than that it was perfect.โ
โAmazing hospitality from Melani! Perfect escape for relaxation and getting in touch with nature. Our rooms were modern and well equipped with stunning views of the mountains. There was access to hiking trails directly from the property. We really enjoyed walking into town and lazing around the heated pool. Added joy of having the most well behaved and loving dogs we have ever met! Even if you are not a dog lover, Kenya and Luca will respect your space. Canโt wait to return! โ
โI loved staying at the Hotel Roosje van de Kaap - Helpi was so welcoming and super friendly. The hotel has a restaurant but is also close to other dining options. There's also onsite parking - I'd definitely stay again next time I'm in Swellendam.โ

Bereits zu Beginn erwartete uns eine Erfrischung mit zwei Glรคsern Wein. Die Zimmer sind modern und gerรคumig gestaltet. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Klimaanlage war relativ laut, aber die schรถne grรผne Lage bringt auch etliches an fliegenden Getier mit sich, sodass ein Fenster-รffnen eher schwierig ist. Man muss hier also einen Kompromiss finden.

โThe property itself is so elegant and stylish with unimpeded views across to the mountains. The deck, pool and gardens are peaceful and full of beautiful sculptures. Our room, Room 4 was spacious, light and airy with a secluded private deck. A gorgeous place to stay within an easy walk to town with all its historic homes. But best of all were the delightful hosts, such warmth and so friendly and genuinely wanting to help in anyway and ensure you have the most comfortable stay. Great breakfast.โ
โLovely out-of-the-way getaway with super friendly staff. Better hiking trail maps, up-to-date picnic basket menus, and working DSTV would have bumped it up to five stars. โ
โReceptipn staff were friendly an the room was as described. We enjoyed the balcony. Dinner was excellent and the night's rest was comfortable and cozy.
Breakfast the following morning was a pleasant surprise. Very well presented and very enjoyable - the perfect way to start the day. โ
