“Absolutely loved the hotel. Had a loto hiccup with the room but the hotel did a great job remedying the issue and all of the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend and I have stayed at a ton of hotels and the staff at the Grand were probably some of the best I have encountered.”

“Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our balcony room had a lovely view of the marina and we very much liked the ability to side open the patio style floor to ceiling windows. The breakfast was very nice with lots of options. There is a very wide variety of restaurants within easy walk. The only slight niggle was check-in. There was only one couple in front of us but it still took about fifteen minutes.”

“This hotel was very convenient if you travel by train. I was unlucky to arrive in the middle of the railway strike, so I had no advantage of the location. The hotel is a quite standard or a bit under a 4 star hotel. I did miss a hand shower and at least a shower cap, when the only shower is coming from above. The service, breakfast and bar was ok. Nothing special but nothing to complain about either. I could stay hear again. The price is less than other of this standard.”

“Amazing stay for my partners birthday. Room was very well presented and hotel offered to provide flowers to celebrate and even a happy birthday message written in chocolate! Absolutely recommend the rooms with a sea view, it really doesn’t disappoint at all! The larger rooms are well worth it, tons of extra space and let you really appreciate the design of the rooms. Spa is absolutely worth the money, it was £10pp per stay when we went, and it was brilliant. Restaurant is downstairs and offers...

“The hotel was very good very clean and suitably situated for our weekend. Breakfast was excellent! The only bad point was that the swimming pool was closed all weekend and on the hottest weekend of the year and with 2 children it was a major issue! We would’ve stayed at a different hotel with a pool if we knew, the hotel should’ve emailed me before we got there to say but nothing was mentioned until I’d paid for our stay!”
