"The property has everything you need for living for an extended period of time. Going up somewhat narrow stairs is required. There was the sound of some sort of animal clawing in the walls or window. I didn't read the notice that I needed to ask for checkin instructions 72 hours beforehand until the day before departure. "From the welcome from Pauline, to the attention to detail in the room, to the great location (you are a very short walking distance from everything in the town and entrance to the Blenheim Palace grounds) and easy parking in front of the house, all this combined to make the perfect stay in Woodstock. Thank you Pauline, it was a delight to stay at Yew Tree, which is clearly a labour of love that you share with your guests making it a very special place to stay."

"Manu was a great host, he was very welcoming and helpful and provided clear instructions to find the apartment, parking and how to get into the property. The property was exactly as advertised, in a great location and was spotless. Also, having tea and coffee at the property is only a small touch but has a great impact and shows Manu cares for guests. Great place and would 100% return. "

"Perfectly placed apartment in The Hub. Cleaned and well maintained. Easy instructions to obtain keys and parking. One griped was that it is close to the bar in the square so Thursday and Friday you’ll get music played until late and the bedroom window is right outside. This isn’t an issue but is the only thing I would say is not 5 stars. Will definitely use again when staying in MK for work."

"Front desk staff were very friendly, but some of the bar/service staff not consistently so, which is a shame. Lack of radiator in the bathroom meant wet towels were hanging around in various places in the room. (Odd when there’s a pool and likely wet costumes). Room temp wasn’t great, either too warm or too cool, and no opening window meant we couldn’t get any air in the room. Overall hotel is nice and feels premium just a few basics missed"
