This is a standard old motel that has been refurbished enough to extend its life but not enough to overcome all of the signs of age like a rusty bathroom door frame and tired old doors on the wardrobe. Still the bed is comfortable with sparkling clean sheets, the room is large and well furnished and the location is convenient. Just watch out for the 2cm high step between the bed and the bathroom that nearly tripped me a half dozen times before I finally had it registered.

Hotel itself was fine for an overnight stay, beyond our air con not working, everything was clean and what you would expect for the price. Overnight check in though was a nightmare. Hard for international travellers who don’t have an Australian phone number. My partner and I spent an hour waiting outside the hotel trying to get the correct room number key. After 30 minutes of talking to a hotel staff member we were told that we could expect an email with the room key in 2-5 minutes, but we never got it. Had to go through the whole process again with a different staff member and luckily we were able to get in with the correct key number. Frustrating thing to deal with in the middle of the night and after a long day of travels.

Great central place close to the airport easy to get around. Property could do with some maintenance as water was leaking through ceiling whilst having a shower, and could do with some new beds as they are very uncomfortable and one of the legs on bed was broken Overall not to bad a place to stay very prompt when checking in with sending your codes thru.

Is more of a one night stay before an early airport check in. Needs a fair bit of maintenance. Bathroom needs an upgrade and a new toilet seat in the room we stayed in had stains on it. Restaurant on site had limited options but was good for what you paid and what they had available. The staff would be my highlight. All very friendly and hard working.
