โMark was very accommodating and my room was really big and comfortable
Water pressure very good for having a shower
I only stayed 1 night but I know the area very well and the guest house is a short walk from most places in town but quiet and peaceful guest house location
Penrith is a beautiful picture postcard town and very handy base for traveling to the Lake District
I will certainly be booking again
I didnโt stay for breakfast but the menu look delicious โ
โA very warm welcome, and Ann, the proprietor, was very helpful and friendly. Room was very well furnished and presented beautifully- perfect cleanliness. Excellent breakfast as well. Canโt think of anything to improve on. We will return whenever we need to stay over anywhere near Penrith. โ
โWe had a โnewโ room that was beautiful with a stunning bathroom. One thing could be betterโฆa full-length mirror for the ladies. Breakfast was top class and dinner was also superb though our server was a bit random and forgot a second glass of wine. But the manager recovered very well by delivering at no cost! Location is good especially for a stop-over close to the M6.โ
โFriendly welcome, lovely spacious room with plenty of well placed plug points. Good size bathroom with toiletries. Room was serviced every day and small bottles of water replaced. Walkable in to town centre albeit uphill on the way back. Would stay here again and would recommend.โ
โOur room was wonderful. The three bedroom room was so spacious. Totally appreciated having a second toilet.
Breakfast was great. Lots of delicious options.
Parking was our only struggle - small lot/big car.

โWhat a haven after my drive from Scotland - superbly welcoming staff and explanation of room upon my arrival - was a wonderful final night of my trip returning to Norfolk the next day - thanks to all staff !!โ
โGiven that they were in the middle of renervations the pub was not open only the room was available but nice and clean once renervations complete will be an ideal place to stay โ
