The cabin was showing it’s age The television didn’t pick up any stations We couldn’t work out how to operate the very old stove When I went to use the barbecue equipment they where out of gas

The relief manager wa extremely rude. The property is run down . We were quoted a price when we booked but on arrival we were changed almost double and as we were booked on the ferry to KI had no choice but to pay .

The greeting on arrival was an unpleasant list of circumstances where our behaviour would result in further charges. The outside was unkempt and grotty. The bed was like a hammock and should have been thrown out years ago.

The park is very run down and needs a real spruce up. However the amenities and cabin were very clean although dated. The camp kitchen is very good and we used it daily. It is a reflection of the town of Kingscote as it is going through a tough time, with many vacant shops in Main Street area.

This place has no aircon, no pillow, no blankets, only a very small heater and a fan you can live with. The toilet is outside the house, many ants and flies, kids are screaming somehow, even drunk people shut at early morning at 4am while you sleeping. Worst of worst.

The location of our cabin was excellent. Close enough to the beach to sit with a cup of tea or have breakfast. A lovely 40 mins to walk to Kingscote. The toilets and showers were clean and well maintained. The price was good value but some might have found it a little run down and too basic. There was a mixup as to linen. My understanding was supply sheets and pillow cases as per other places I have stayed in elsewhere. However, it means also supply blankets and pillows. Con was good enough to give us pillows when I asked about this. They will supply you with linen for a small cost. Overall a satisfactory experience.

De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is in orde. Verwacht in ieder geval zeker niet teveel comfort. Bedden waren prima in orde. Minpunt is de wifi. Alleen in een cirkel van ongeveer 30 meter rond het BBQ-punt heb je bereik, daarbuiten dus niet. Ligging aan het strand is prachtig. De pelikanen worden in de ochtend op het strand gevoerd.

A good location, right on the Esplanade. Very quiet and lovely surroundings. The units were very dated but otherwise OK. Cheaper than other similar accom. Bring your own shampoo and coffee/tea if staying more than a day or two.

The property was clean and tidy although dated. Staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. The downside was air conditioner was quite noisy and TV reception was none existent. Maybe a can of mosquito spray could be left in the cupboards =)
