Late check in and earlier check out than normal. Rooms were not cleaned very well. Light in bathroom, for example worked sometimes only

Outdated property, the room looked like a storage facility, to me it was a scary place. No complimentary tea/coffee like other places. You can hear the next door neighbor.

The location is great so the facilities. However, it smells from cigarettes. The cigarettes, half burned, are everywere. The place need cleaning andsome restriction for smokers.

More for your money else where.
The lady in reception was friendly and gave us a little leaflet with information about Bruges and the free WiFi and gave us our room key. (Did get sightly concerned that the police were in the hotel reception/breakfast room when we turned up!) . Stayed here only 1 night as a quick stopover in-between travelling to different countries. Payed €109 for a room with 1 double bed and 1 single. This was a steep price for what we got. Yes the bathroom was clean albeit needing a good update as picture show. The beds OK, clean towels provided. The floor was filthy I didn't take my shoes or socks for once until I got into bed. No kettle in our room. The room needs a good update as dated and looking very tired. If your a light sleeper this may not be the place for you.  The road noice even at 2am was continuous (writing this at 2am due to the noise).  I could hear people from below us banaging around all night. Sounded like they were moving furniture around all night!!!!!?? I certainly would not bring family's with children here. Much better places locally for the price what we paid. Yes it is close the Bruges centre it's self only a  10minute cycle ride. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that.

The only good thing is the parking, otherwise everything was bad. First the hotel is far from the city, it's good only if you have a car. Also, check in is at 16h and the check out is at 10h, so we paid almost 70 euros to stay just for 18 hours! The room is small and not clean, no fridge! No sound isolation, we heard people talking (neighbors and people passing outside). The parking is good, the outside os nice, there are trees and plants. But still, I think it does not deserve that 63 euros!

I thought the room for the price is great value but it is minimal with no coffee in the room but for a price at the front door. The beds were comfortable, clean and the rooms spotless. You will need to take a car to the city center and pay for parking there but hey do provide free parking at Value Stay.

Good place for travellers
We arrived before our due time were met and treated very well shown to our room and given extra tea to drink. The hotel is easy to find, in fact the easiest we have found on our travels and close to a major highway connecting the rest of Europe. Breakfast was plentiful and at a good price so for us we will stay again next time we travel to Poland and beyond.

The property is nicely maintained and property manager was very polite and helpful. Excellent stay, just that they don't have lift so its inconvenient to carry luggage yourself as they dont have potter service also. Property manager also helped for early checkin at no extra charge and helped in booking morning cab. Overall it was a nice experience

Great value, and lovely people...
We were completely happy with our stay at Value Stay Bruges. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the optional breakfast was delicious. Getting into Bruges Market Centre was very easy, and within 10 minutes by taxi or bus. Benny and Nancy, the manager/hosts were amazing. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and helped us out tremendously with getting transport/airline bookings. Thank you again Benny and Nancy for your help and friendliness.

The gentleman on the desk was lovely and very welcoming, ensuring that we had everything we needed to get transport and gave a good recommendation on a nearby restaurant. Unfortunately the housekeeping was not up to scratch. The room was perfectly useable however it looked fairly tired and needs some paint. Very disappointingly on arrival there was a soaking wet towel for some reason left in our bathroom and another one of them had stains all over it. The bed was very uncomfortable and we both suffered with back ache the following days. It’s a budget hotel so I understand it won’t be luxury, but cleanliness is still important and not difficult to do.
