Just right for family stay

Older building not far from city centre and units are progressively being upgraded. Over all a quiet location and close to a all forms of public transport. Is also located near a major shopping centre - less than 5 minutes walk from apartment Also had a small clean functional kitchen

Great location for us to get around. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient especially when the toaster blew the fuses in our apartment. Enough space, modern and generally well equipped. I would suggest the following improvements (minor niggles) to make the stay better: A means to make coffee (a cafetière would be enough), a tea towel in the kitchen, a microwave, the frying pan was missing. A blind or curtain or shutter for the kitchen window as sleeping on the sofa bed meant I was woken up by the light from the kitchen window. Finally the towels in the bathroom are clean but could do with being a bit bigger. These are all minor things and wouldn’t put us off staying here again but just suggestions of how it would have been even better. We were well looked after and enjoyed our stay.

Apartment was spacious but not in the best condition. The shower was over the bath and had no rail so had to hold the shower head during showering. We had one hand towel and requested another but were told this would be 3 euros. The apartment was approx 10 mins wal to Corvin-negyed metro.

This apartment was amazing. The location and access was very easy and it was a great place with everything needed within the apartment. I have no negatives, other than maybe one extra pillow on the bed as they could get flat. However for price aNd location this is a 5 star place.

Great apartment, booked because had 3 seperate bed not all on same room (2 queensize beds in seperate bedrooms and double sofa bed in livingroom). Ideal location for walking or transport links just round the corner. Plenty of local shops 2 mins away, a Spar, bakery and McDonald's to name a few. Clean, Spacious with seperate toilet and bathroom. Only one issue was the showerhead was not secured so had to hold when using but this was a minor thing for a brilliant 3 night stay.. would recommend

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Countless issues!

I read the reviews for this apartment as we were travelling Budapest to watch the World Athletics Championships. I really wish we had chosen another place to stay. PLEASE NOTE first and foremost that air conditioning is NOT included as the listing suggests and 35 degree heat meant we had to pay the 60 Euro demanded plus the 50 Euro deposit. This is when you actually manage to get in the front door which seemed to be permanently locked! I spent most of the week letting weary travellers into the main door as it was awful watching them stand in the heat wondering how on eartth to get into the hotel! The chaos continued when we tried to use the oven - there was not a single oven tray/pan - anything to allow us to actually USE the oven! The microwave button was broken meaning we couldn't start and stop the microwave. We got through the weekend then Monday morning at 7.30am the hammering started directly underneath! This continued every day and looking out of the window, I could see that they were renovating the apartments below - breeze block walls, new flooring - the lot! We left the apartment every day to escape the noise so please don't visit for a romantic trip away! Location was OK - close to shops etc but the apartment let down our trip hugely. The woman on reception was nasty and rude and we did not feel welcome so we did not dare to approach them for ANYTHING throughout our stay. I would most definitely NOT stay here again. Hotel.com have been very helpful.

Poor communication from the owner. We were never properly checked in and calls and messages on the days of and before arrival were unanswered. We never saw anyone working at the reception desk during our stay. We were not told that the flat was through a different entrance further down the street. The lock to the front door of the flat was sometimes difficult to open and the key box was also temperamental. We were left only a small amount of toilet paper and as no-one was ever at reception we had to go out and buy our own. On one of the nights there was no hot water.
