"After arriving from San Diego, we were thrilled when the hotel staff allowed us to check in early, as we had to be in formal attire and in our seats for a 3:30 pm wedding at The Monroe. Our breakfast was delicious and allowed us to spend time with other family members. My husband is a former Navy fighter pilot. Our only request is that you replace the tattered American flag that we were so pleased to see flying on the property!"

"Hall way Near the elevator there was an odd smell daily. The room was not attended to daily (we were there for more than 5 days). The room and hotel over all was clean and affordable. Staff very friendly."

"Clean and quiet...However, The continental breakfast was pathetic...hard boiled eggs, dry toast and a few muffins, Juice was out and had to re-filled, Luckily we had a kitchen to create our own food. The gentleman was pleasant, however the next morning. The female was too busy to acknowledge us when we approached the front desk. I guess her cellular phone was more important than any guest services. We are considering minutes/,... We had to say, excuse me to get her attention. Seemed bothered by our existence."

"This hotel was great overall! It was clean and the rooms were very nice. My only suggestion would be to improve the breakfast experience. The hot items were lukewarm, including the eggs. Some additional fresh fruit and/or hot items would be a good add! Other than that, it was a great stay."
