“We booked a room as part of a wedding party .wedding was at 2pm.
Check in is 4pm which is quite late ,we had to be in the orangery for 4pm so staff managed to check us in 3.40pm .Room was perfect, slept well,breakfast amazing. Food at the wedding of Becky and Mark was incredible. Our first visit here and we will definitely return and use the pool/spa as we didn't get chance to on this occasion.

“Great stay in converted cottage in the courtyard. Great location, very friendly staff. Walked to Lansdown Park and ride only 10 min for evening in Bath, so convenient.”
“The hotel is perfectly located for both the Theatre Royal and Ustinov Theatre as you can walk to either in about thirty seconds! There are also numerous bars, coffee shops and restaurants in the immediate area.
Despite being centrally located, I didn't hear any noise from outside at all.
My room was quite compact but very comfortable, the shower was great as was the bed.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

“I found the owner to be very friendly, welcoming and hospitable. Good facilities at the accommodation with ample parking. Very adjacent to Bath and Somerset Showground for access to Newwine conference as well as close to Shepton Mallet. Breakfast was substantial and decent. Overall, good stay. Thank-you”
“Went for 25th anniversary. Room huge as was. Athroom. Food was excellent had the steak. Cut like butter. Breakfast had the full English. Quality ingredients , worth the extra”
“The hotel is beautiful Victorean property. The location is idyllic between the hills. The only issue was the narrow entrance and the lack of parking due to the tour buses the used 4 parking spots. Other than that, the hotel was a hit. I would definitely stay again. ”
“Good food in the garden, nice to see the rooms ( or the one I dad) had been renovated. It's a great place and I stay about 6 times a year, some of the rooms were looking and feeling tired so fingers crossed they are now spending some money on the place. Service and food always been spot on.”
