“Lovely hotel, really clean. Staff at reception were super helpful and even made sure we could get dinner although we checked in just after service stopped. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked to order. Dinner was really tasty and good prices. Would 100% recommend to anyone”

“Beautiful hotel even looking through storm Claudia! The food was first class in the restaurant with some of the best chicken I've tasted. The room was lovely and little touches like light coming on when you opened the cupboard & a night light in the bathroom added to the stay. Bed was soft and comfortable. Very pleasant stay with lovely staff and if we ever go up that was again, definitely high on our list to stay: just hope the weather is better :-)”

“We had a great stay, the room was spacious, and very inviting. It had everything you would need and included free coffee,tea,biscuits, crisp and toiletries, we would definitely return. The location to the town centre was great and it was close to restaurants ”

“The hotel's location was beautiful due to the backdrop of the trees and hills and on the river Severn. Internally the hotel is very traditional with old features, fixtures and fittings. Single glazed windows led to it being cold in some areas, especially our room and creaking floors. Meals and beers were good and staff very helpful and polite. We wouldn't stay again but that's not a reflection on the hotel, it is just us wanting to stay in other hotels in different locations. Fully recommend...
