I think Baymond has the best Rooftop pool. Beautiful view too. Big rooms and very modern. Walking distance to the beach and the lively street and a food alley. Love this place.

The property is clean. Rooms are good. Bed and bathroom excellent. It is only 5 minutes walk to lovely part of the beach and the market. Lots of shopping around from convenience stores to McDonalds and local restaurants and cafes. Friendly staff. Minutes from subway. Would stay there again!

Everything was great but the one negative is that the hotel policy is for you to not flush toilet paper after use; you are instructed to place it n wastebasket so as not to cause plumbing issue.

Pros: room is comfortable and clean, rooftop pool is awesome, location is walking distance to beach and public transportation Cons: Unfriendly service, not helpful. They could easily replace the check in desk with a machine. Rooms have water damage on the walls. Elevator to rooftop broke down everyday which required using the stairs that were strewn with dirty towels and housekeeping carts/equipment. Cabana rental included 2 glasses of wine that ended up being spoiled wine. When we asked for something else, they required payment. To “make up” for having to pay for complimentary wine, they gave us ONE additional glass of wine. To split between us I guess? Overall recommendation: the price is not worth it. But if you need a place that’s a nice place to sleep with a nice pool and no other options, it’ll do. Don’t have any expectations about the service they will offer.

We booked this hotel intentionally to use the laundry facilities as it was the mid-point of our trip. Unfortunately the machines were not maintained and the dryer did not dry (kept showing an error and would stop randomly because of it). When we asked for help with our fully damp clothes, the receptionist asked if we wanted to dry our clothes with the hair dryer in the room instead…we could not believe the response. We were forced to go to a laundromat out of our own pockets. Disappointing service, but the rest of the hotel was really great and location is superb. English was not strong.

When we first arrived it was 1:30 pm in the afternoon. We were not greeted with a hello but a check in isn’t until 3:00 pm. When I asked the front desk for a suggestion for lunch I was told everything was closed and nothing was opened till dinner. Imagine our surprise when we were walking a very short distance from the hotel to see there were several things open to eat. When we came back we were given a room that smelled like someone had been smoking. We asked for another room and we’re treated horribly!! We prepaid for breakfast which was a mistake. We showed up only once and we’re treated poorly. It was so bad and service was so rude we didn’t return. The rooms were nice is all I can say nice about this place. I will not be back and I will not be recommending it to anyone I know EVER!

Room was spotless and for the price it was probably one of the best rooms I've ever been. The staff were very nice and overall a very pleasant experience. I just wish the breakfast buffet ran through the week.

Don’t book a “city room view” room…
Let’s start with the positives - the hotel was clean, large, great facilities and fabulous roof top pool. It’s a couple of streets away from Haeundae Beach and about a 5-10 minute walk from the main Haeundae Metro line. Staff were friendly, and check in was simple. Room service was quick and the food was as you’d expect from a hotel. Now the negative. We booked a “Standard King Room with City View” as the photos looked nice, which turned out more like a “… Room with a Construction View”. There is an apartment complex being built behind the hotel with noise and piling rigs from 07:00-16:00ish every day - and to be honest not the best to open the curtains to construction workers. The noise was so bad that upon check in we asked for another room, to which we were going to be placed on the same side of the construction, so had to pay an additional 240,000 KRW for a room at the front of the hotel (which was conveniently all sea view and therefore means premium). Unfortunately the new room was only available 4/5 nights available, so there was inconvenience with moving around so much, and meant we were back in the rear of the hotel on our last night - but thankfully the construction had been boarded (which didn’t stop the noise). If this has been made clear at the time of booking, and we’d realise we’d have to pay for an upgrade (so upgrade + hotel price), we wouldn’t have booked here at all and turned out an expensive stay for the money. Deeply disappointing.

Good stay
Overall Baymond hotel was OK. The bed was comfortable and the hotel is located between 2 metro stations (10mins away on foot). There are quite a few restaurants, cafes close by and the neighbourhood is pretty safe. If you want to stay near the beach this is a good place, but if you are going to explore Busan bear in mind that you need to travel about 40-60 mins to some of the main tourist attractions.

Wow! Love this place! Was in the best location and had amazing views from the HEATED rooftop pool! The room was clean and the staff was very friendly! The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the beach and boardwalk area. I will definitely be taking another trip to Busan and staying here. :)

Wonderful place
The hotel is new and modern. Located very close to Haeundae Beach. The room is controlled by an AI system which was cool but also frustrating to use at times. The reception was helpful and friendly.
