A building erected in 1868 has some wonderful architectual features. Our room was fully refurbished, clean and modern. The opportunity to be able to sit out in the gardens was very welcome.

Beautiful building, great location, rooms were nice. Elevator was sloooowww and only pay internet was available in the rooms. The rooms weren't cleaned at all, no new towles etc. for 3 days that we were there. Not sure if there would have been any service if we stayed longer.

We had Room 200 which large enough for us. The bathroom was immaculate and appeared to be new. Not much of a view but we were not bothered by this. Tea and coffee making facilities and comfy bed. The building itself was amazing as regards an old Spa hotel but some parts looked as though it needed some TLC. The earliest you go for breakfast the better as it gets really busy but the food is still plentiful.

Beautiful hotel that has had a lot of work done to it recently. But I was annoyed that we had to pay £5 a day on top of our hotel bill for parking in the hotel carpark. Plus the pillows were very hard & uncomfortable, & there was only one socket available to use in the room.

your charge of £7 per day for internet is unnacceptable.I do not use Travel lodge as they charge £3 your charge means that I will not return although I enjoyed everything else. I visit Buxton often as I am a committed walker Sorry
