"Best place to stay in downtown Minneapolis"

"Well the place looked pretty classy inside and out. My room looked clean well kept. I thought breakfast should be free as this is my first time staying in a Doubletree hotel or any hotel for that matter that didn't have free breakfast. This would be the final comment, but the worst part was the room had bed bugs, but it looked clean and was comfortable. The refrigerator in the room was cool but not cold. I know things happen and I understand for the most part. I would stay at this hotel again."

"Great location along the interstate, very fresh and welcoming smell, and great breakfast. Our room was very clean and quiet, and the air conditioner worked great. I recommend Tea House Chinese Restaurant for lunch or dinner. It is nearby and the front desk had menus. HUGE portions, and the staff was great with light-hearted quips."

"The only reason why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars is mainly because there were audio issues with the TV on all stations. They said it was a system problem and most likely not going to be fixed before I leave. I stayed 3 nights and it was rough trying to watch tv. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was pretty boring. Cereal, juice, milk, toaster waffles, bagels, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Was the same each day except every other day it was turkey sausage or pork sausage. It wasn't bad, just boring. Maybe switch it up a little with biscuits and gravy or something else instead of the exact same thing daily. Besides that, it was quiet and I enjoyed the stay. They had a nice pool and hot tub. The workout room looked fantastic. The staff was very nice and helpful. You could tell it was an older hotel but it was kept up nicely. The room was spacious with a seating area, kitchenette, desk, and the toilet/bath tub was separate from the bathroom sink. That was really nice design."
