"The Buye Apartments is a perfect location to watch the sunset in a peaceful surrounding. The beach is beautiful and the water is calm. Having a restaurant and bar at the location made it very convenient. The food at the Macamba Restaurant was delicious and the staff very friendly. The only incident we encountered was that our room was almost flooded due to the heavy rain we experienced in the last day. Luckily we were back in the room and managed to remove the water as it was coming through the door with a small rag and blocked the door with plastic bags to prevent more water from entering. When the rain stopped I managed to drain all the water out thus in the morning the floor was dry again. I informed the front desk when I left that I strongly recommended for them to place in the future a rubber rain door stopper to prevent the place from flooding during thunderstorms and/or heavy rain."

"Near many shops and places to visit. The room was very clean, but sparse. Had a fridge, but no hairdryer nor a coffee maker. The air conditioning was awesome. It was nice and quiet. The TV could use better internet and viewing channels. The parking was good, but the general area needs better upkeep. Definitely safe and a great choice for two nights. Will probably stay again, if needed."
