“Good value for money for a short stay, hotel is on a terraced street so not the best for parking if spaces in the limited on site car park at the back are taken. Had to park on public car park £6-7 pound for 24 hours. Decent breakfast available with a good choice of items. Staff were helpful and friendly. Not all rooms are en-suite(check when booking?) but was provided with key to own bathroom close to room which no one else used. As said good for short break/long weekend and well situated...

“The room was spacious and quiet. The staff were friendly and polite. Dinner was good, breakfast was disappointing. My husband ordered smashed avocado on toast with bacon and poached egg. There was virtually no avocado on toast. The waitress was lovely and removed it from our bill. Was disappointing though.”

“The chap who was on reception during our stay (Abdallah - apologies if I've misremembered, or misspelt, his name) was welcoming, helpful, pleasant and friendly. The room was very comfortable, and the presence of a fridge was very welcome, as was access to the kitchen downstairs. In the bathroom, the shower was great, but the toilet was a little bit tall/raised up, making it a bit awkward to sit on, and the seat wouldn't stay up on its own and had to be held in place in case it fell back down....
