Victoria House and Jan the proprietor were absolutely wonderful. The property is lovely, the location is perfect for exploring the town, and Jan was full of excellent recommendations for food and excursions. We had the best time!

We wish we could have stayed longer! We arrived late at night after our travel plans were delayed and Jan was so kind and accommodating and stayed up late to make sure we checked in. She even upgraded our room and offered us refreshments. The whole building is charming, with tasteful decor. The room itself (and bathroom) felt quite luxurious, were very clean with all amenities as advertised. Our only regret is that we only stayed the one night and couldn’t be there longer. We would absolutely come back.

An excellent Guest House run by the ever helpful Jan, who keeps the whole house immaculate. Easy parking outside the house in quieter months and a short walk away in busy times with the supplied permit from Jan. The house is central inside the town walls and so only 5 mins walk to the Castle, shops and pubs.

We had a lovely stay at this small, family-run hotel and would definitely recommend it. Jan was very kind and helpful before and during the stay. A good base for visiting the Lleyn Peninsula and we even had great weather!

The owner was very welcoming, gave great dining suggestions, and the staff were also friendly. We were in a bit of a pickle regarding laundry and they were able to remedy that! Room was large and very comfortable. I would definitely stay again!
