Lovely property. Few rooms, very zen, quiet except for the howler monkeys lol. There is parking. Louis was super helpful. Suggestion: we felt the room needed more spots to put things on. Maybe an additional console or some hooks on the wall. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our very short stay at La Bonita Lodge. Unfortunately the airline lost our luggage so we spent most of our day in San Jose buying clothes before heading down to Puerto Viejo. We arrived late but had a nice dinner at Banana Azul and then were able to use the easy to follow directions to gain access to the property and our room. The room was spotless and welcoming. We weren't able to park our car in the lot as it was full but after contacting the host we were told it was fine to park on the other side of the lodge. Communication was fantastic with the staff and I really wish we had been able to enjoy the property during the day as it was beautiful and the pool was very inviting.
