Second time I have stayed here. Love the location, a few minutes away from busy part of The Esplanade. The pool is fine however might need an upgrade in the near future. Had a king size bed with mountain view in spacious room. Staff warm & friendly. Will be back and stay here.

No concierge service on arrival and staff on desk had very little English - I found it very hard to communicate with them. Had to pay for parking on top of the room charge. Only one towel in our room. Not at all what I was expecting and I don’t think I would come back in comparison to other places I have stayed here.

Recently stayed for 3 nights to visit the Great Barrier Reef. This property is centrally located by the waterfront, minutes walk to the main reef fleet terminal and the town centre's restaurants, shops and services. The staff encountered were friendly, attentive and competent. The room was adequately appointed, spacious, good air conditioning and bed comfortable. Overall, a pleasant and satisfying stay. Recommended, and I would stay again.

The property is situated close to everything to explore locally and for pickups and cruise locations. Great lounge and atrium area and staff are warm and welcoming despite the busy period. Buffet breakfast was nice with enough variety to suit all tastes and diets. Roms, though a bit dated are comfortable and clean. We had the double superior for a family of four for four nights. Was the perfect base to rest every night to then set out for a full day of exploring and adventure. Don't expect early check-ins. Our direct flight landed at 9, and we got the room close to actual check-in time of 3pm. We made the most of it figuring out nearby important walk-to locations like the Cairns rly station for our next day out at Kuranda. Lovely experience overall.

Although it was the middle of winter, it was nice to be able to sit by the pool. However it really needed some renovations and more cleaning, especially the spa after kids staying in for long timeframes! The view made up for the hotel being a little tired.

Recently stayed at this place. Beautiful and convenient location. Its right on the esplanade so several options for entertainment and food. Met with helpful staff. Drawback were that its pretty old, some of the furniture in the room looked super old and damaged. There were heaps of ants in the room for which staff had to sprayto clear them.

The room and property were very old. Rooms 601 and 501 have terrible mold odor. And everything in the room was damp like sweating. I’ve never removed my shoes and felt like I was walking on a wet rug. There was a lot of Moisture in the air.
