"Pools were great and fed with natural mineral spring water . Palm trees and grounds around th pools was lovely. Bed super comfortable. Room was quiet and clean. It is an older hotel and needs some renovation- hallways are dark, ice machine looked like it was falling apart, and the restaurant was a bit drab ( dinner was pretty good though). All in all it was a good stay and we would come again. "

"The Dunes was a solid choice for our Palm Springs stay, especially given its excellent location—an easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. The room was quite small, essentially just a bed, chair, and bathroom, but it was clean, functional, and worked well for a short trip. It’s not a space you’d want to spend much time in, but that’s not really the point in Palm Springs. The property has a great mid-century aesthetic, and the pool area was a highlight—relaxing and well maintained. The lobby also looked inviting, though we didn’t spend time there, and we didn’t use the fitness center. My only real complaint was a somewhat noisy air conditioner. Overall, a good, no-frills option in a great location."

"The property could use some updating like repainting around the grounds and reflooring in the room bathrooms. But overall the service was great and the restaurant food and drinks were delicious. I had a wonderful massage too. It was definitely a hotel for a bit younger crowd and not what I consider low key for over 50 people. We didn’t mind too much. Just be prepared for loud music at the pool bumping through your room. If you don’t like the pool party vibe go to the pool before noon and after 5pm. And bring ear plugs for your afternoon nap. "

"We enjoyed our stay here and plan to come back next January and stay for more than two nights. It's a block off the main drag, which means it is quieter, but walking distance to some great restaurants. The pool area is clean and has lots of umbrellas for shade. The room had some nice extras...a fridge and microwave, as well as the important Keurig. The bed was comfy. The air/heating unit is a little loud but those usually are. It was fine. "

"The room was adequate. Beds were not very comfortable, but the pool and poolside restaurant and bar were incredible. Lots of great food and drinks and the waterslides are a lot of fun for the kids. "
