Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake of the Ozarks

10/10 Excellent

"The property itself is so beautiful. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is staying at the rooms that are separate from the hotel near the water. They put us in one of those rooms at first and it was so hot because the air conditioning only works when you are in your room and moving. So if you are out enjoying the pool or anything else they offer you would come back to a hot room and it was 100 degrees on a couple days were we there so that was a no go for us. However I called the front desk and they moved us to the main hotel right away and our stay was perfect after that! Can’t wait to go back next year!"

"I gave this hotel 5 stars because of the price. The room had everything we needed. There was an indoor and outdoor pool that both worked great. Yes, the hotel could use some updates, but all we needed was a clean place to sleep. Also, I do not consider donuts a continental breakfast, but with all of the money we saved staying at this hotel we were able to eat out for breakfast and lunch and still spend less than staying at one of the hot breakfasts included hotels."

"The resort is huge and has amenities that satisify all ages. We enjoyed relaxing by the large pool each day, sitting in the adirondack chairs to watch the boats zip up and down the main channel, we took walks on the path that outlines the property, and also relaxed in the hot tub in the evenings. We also felt safe walking around the property at all times of the day. Thanks for a great stay!"

The Lodge at Old Kinderhook Golf Resort

"The staff was extremely welcoming. The landscape is absolutely beautiful. The Spa is in walking distance and the staff there is amazing. Very pleasant and professional with a variety of treatments available. The outdoor swimming pool is a little small for a resort but there is a cabana and outdoor bar poolside also there is an indoor swimming pool and hot tub on the lower level of the hotel. If you are a golfer it’s a fantastic course to play however for those of us who don’t golf the amenities are limited. At the resort itself. However it is extremely clean with nice size bathrooms and comfortable beds. There is a lot of construction in the area that will bring new attractions the lake is just about a mile away from the resort. We had a great experience and highly recommend Old Kinderhook."
