"Clean! I checked the beds the bathroom the dishes… The beds were comfortable the space was lovely. We will make this a return roo hotel. The breakfast atea was wonderful. Modern and clean. I saw the health inspection tag. 100. The staff was helpful and friendly. Housekeeping was actually first to say good morning and had a smile. We were impressed. It’s on our list to come back to."

"The hotel is very nice. We had a room on the top floor with a view out the NW facing the visitor center. The room was clean and ready. The bathroom was really nice, and well laid out. The bar is still not open so don’t go by the pictures in the listing, but it wasn’t why we picked this hotel anyway. The staff were friendly, helpful and non intrusive. The art galleries are nice but limited. The location is great if you want to stay downtown but for the price, parking should be included at the lot across the street. It’s Lexington KY not NYC… No breakfast included but we could walk easily to a nice little place a few blocks away."

"This was 1 of the coolest hotel stays that we have ever came across. I’m glad that we got to stay here on the way to Ohio from Chattanooga, TN. We enjoyed the 1 night stay here so much that we booked here again on the way back through when heading home and even stayed a 2nd night as well and never had intent on doing so. All in all, we stayed here for 3 nights and it was an honor! It’s so cool that this place is opened as a hotel instead of just a daytime attraction. It’s awesome that you can stay in a place that is so historic and for a reasonable price as well. Shaker Village was definitely icing on the cake for our vacation that we never planned but so so grateful that we decided to give it a shot that 1st night. Breakfast and dinner at The Trustees' Table was AMAZING and it was cool how we could just walk out of our room and walk on over to eat. We will definitely be back with our kids next time and make our stay here a part of our family vacation, we absolutely enjoyed our stay here!!!"

"There was a small issue with our room, unfortunately it was after hours so the front desk staff, although very kind, were unable to correct the issue. We were able to contact the general manager and he was able to get us to another room very quickly. Over all a good stay!"

"The receptionist at the desk in the evening was wonderful - engaging, helpful, positive. We did find a dirty toilet when we arrived the was never a concern to housekeeping. Not acceptable"
