"We just came from a wonderfull stay at this paradise. The service was at it finest, and the location to. We were so lucky, that the staff (Susanna) upgraded our room to a supirior, because there were one free. The room was so beautifull - the combination of wood, stone and “farm” style has sat an impression of us. You really need to experience this place. Both the location, but very much the service indeed. Incredible breakfeast, haven’t got anyting near this standard for the money before....

"The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom was compact but used the space well. We tried the outdoor pool but it was unheated and cool for being at the end of a hot summer. The indoor Roman bath was better. We normally don’t get breakfast through the hotels we stay at , but did here because of the reviews. It was an extensive breakfast so we were happy we did this. I would fully recommend this hotel. It is a short 2 minute walk to old town. "

"Unfortunately, when we arrived at the property, we got the information that it was overbooked and that they did not have a room available for us, I made the reservation 30 min. before arrival. He reallocated us to a sister property with a lower star rating (Hotel do Paço by Vima Hotels) nearby which by the way was not nice and not even close to what we originally booked. They were not very keen in helping with the invoicing procedure, I wanted to get the difference in rate refunded and while I had to contact Expedia (who were very helpful) our presence was just ignored in the reception without even a glass of water. The receptionist from the sister hotel wouldn't wait for us, she was very rude over the phone with her colleague and left leaving the key in a locker. Having to deal with this after a full day tiring trip was not really what we expected. Of course, overbookings can happen in every hotel, that is not the point, the point was the customer service this property provided and the friendliness which just did not exist."

"A lovely small hotel in the historical area of Braga. It is located within walking distance of the railway station and the bus station. The bus station operates an hourly airport transfer bus to Porto International for 9 euros (one way). This hotel provides great base to explore Braga’s historical sites and many good restaurants. We were greeted upon arrival by smart professional staff who made us feel welcome and were happy to help us plan our site seeing trips. Our standard room was clean and spacious, we were at the side of the hotel so there was not a lot of natural light or street views, but it was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had a bath and shower over bath. We did not dine at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. We would recommend this hotel for a short stay in the beautiful City of Braga."
