However the hotel being called Cala Luna has nothing to do with the beach it’s named after which is a big miss leading, you still have to pay €5 a day and a 20 min boat to the Cala Luna. "The good: the front desk, restaurant and cleaning staff were great, helpful and friendly. Nice grounds, nice pool, patio from the room was nice. The beach area was also very good and not far. The restaurant was excellent. Parking was easy. The less than good: The room was very dated and not decorated. The bathroom toilet seat broke. The sink was damaged and patched with silicon! "Very nice resort situated right on a beautiful white sand beach. There are a few things that could use some upgrading and improvement but nevertheless we had a wonderful 2-week stay at the family apartment with two young children. The apartment furnishings are very basic. The bottom floor apartment was perfect for us as our kids could run around in the front and back patios. The bathroom unfortunately smelled pretty bad like sewer but we closed all the drains and that helped. The kitchen is not...

"Lovely property in Cala Gonone. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and that we were taken care of. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. We stayed in an Economy room on the 1st floor and we’re perfectly satisfied. The resturant at the hotel was fantastic, we ate dinner there twice! Cute bar and lobby lounge area. The pool was nice as well. Overall great stay in Cala Gonone"
