“We had room 8 which is in a separate building behind the main house in the upstairs suite...it was lovely! Nice and clean and really nicely decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable nights rest! There are two hot tubs available for guests use eith plenty of towels in the room. We enjoyed the complimentary chocolate bars....thank you! ”

“This was an amazing place to stay as well as visit. The staff was kind, helpful, knowledgeable and wonderful. The grounds and rooms a beautiful and comfortable. The restaurant is delicious and the distillery tour is a must. The only complaint i would have is the boxed breakfast and self serve coffee in room.”

“Excellent stay. Property has so many bonus amenities that you would have to stay to experience. Excellent laundry.. snacks..provided earplugs…quality towelly and linens feels like you are visiting your loving aunts or mothers for the weekend. Impeccably maintained and furnished. Only drawback is that it is 2k to get into town so not walkable. However it would be next to impossible to get here without your own transportation. So much to see and do and experience only a short drive away. Truly...

“We stayed at multiple hotels/motels and cabins during our trip to Nova Scotia and during our trip around Cabots Trail. The Bras D'Or Inn was by far our favourite stay. The room was spacious and clean, the property was beautiful with a gorgeous wharf behind where there were gorgeous views of the lake. The attached restaurant was also a nice treat. The food was terrific. We only stayed one night, but it was the best evening of the trip. Would stay again there 100%”

“Very clean cabin and great location on the Cabot trail - wonderful beach within walking distance and a great restaurant just across the street. Very close to various trails. Cabin had a little covered deck which was great to take in the view and relax. Absolutely recommend staying here.”

“The whole area is very conveniently located near downtown near Alexander Graham Bell Museum, and gas station and Jim Hortons. The minute we laid eyes on it, we couldn’t be more excited especially when our room actually has a view for the lake. We didn’t offer for breakfast amuse at the hotel so we can’t comment on the food.
