"This is an excellent location with great staff. The hotel is fantastic but the rooms are a bit tired and in need of upgrade. Also no kettle in rooms so had to keep asking for boiling water to make tea which felt hazardous walking up and down to the room carrying it. "

"Room on ground floor with a balcony over looking a car park. The car park was busy with man cars and coaches arriving for tourists to look at the canal. The music from the 2 restaurants started early and finished late. It was loud. The bed was like sleeping on concrete. "

But it's close enough to the beach that it's walking distance and yet far enough away from downtown that you don't have all the noise. The staff are excellent, the views are incredible, and it's just excellent value for money."
