Hosts were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were fantastic, with multiple options made to order.
The two restaurants in Parrsboro are about 25 minutes away, but we had a small kitchen, so could make our own lunch/dinner. The Joggins Fossil cliffs are about 55 minutes away- most of the guests who were there with us went there. โ
โBeautiful house where a clear effort has been made to furnish with period furniture and even track down a few pieces original to the house. The rooms were comfortable and decorated beautifully. The owners went out of their way to accommodate an allergy. The breakfast was tasty and served on beautiful china. The owners were very knowledgeable about the area and happy to offer information. Would definitely stay here again.โ
โWe stayed in the Grand Room (last room available) and it had unexpected extras including a dry sauna, nice sheets and comfy bed and pillows, a rack for hanging swimsuits, small fridge, and keurig. The outdoor pool is heated to 81F and has a slide and diving board; because of the operating hours (10 am to 9 pm) we couldn't take advantage of it. The owners put a lot of thought and care into the breakfast provided and the breakfast/sunroom is very pleasant. โ
