"Check in was pleasant and easy. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They did a good job cleaning the rooms. The view of the Harbour was excellent. The location was great for access to Stanley Park. We really enjoyed the afternoon tea. We also recommend the buffet breakfast. "

"We, a family of three, wanted a relaxed overnight stay in Vancouver. Unfortunately, it requires more than one night to adapt to this hotel's eccentric room amenities. Our child immediately grabbed the sensor activated candy, $12 for some gummy bears, that we were told would be refunded, and wasn't. The fridge was completely loaded with sales items and unusable. You have to order another fridge apparently. No kettle, and it took over an hour to get one by seemingly confused staff (insisting there was already a kettle in the room). And a coffee maker that is as loud as a jack hammer, waking up my wife and kid. So the first night in this hotel is a mildly stressful exercise. Next hotel I'll phone ahead and quiz them on the amenities."
