The area and views from the hotel were less than scenic but a short walk away was the dining, shopping, and historic areas. It was a little unnerving to find the hotel lobby door was locked on the inside so we could not exit without the desk clerk and his key when leaving early."

"Nice hotel. Rooms were nice, roomy balcony. Only slight negative was hotel situated a bit far out from the centre. Although there is a bus stop directly outside there were few buses and no indication of a timetable so you cant rely on a bus and taxi's very expensive"

"The hotel/agriturismo was situated at the base of Mount Etna - we had spectacular views of the volcano and the sea. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. Food was excellent and staff very helpful. It was a short drive to Taoromina. Only complaint was the 7:30am wake-up call from the helicopter outside."
