This hotel is in a great location! Walking distance to the university and close restaurant and bars near. The only bad things I have to say is the music from the near by bar made it hard to sleep, also when we went to check out their wasn’t an option for the hotel to hold our belongings, which was a very big inconvenience bc we had taken the train up. We ended up having to pay additional money to have a later check out just to store our belongings. We were here to visit the University and it would have been hard to show up at an open house with luggage in hand. Overall the stay was good dispite those couple of things.

No safe in room. When we called to ask about it, we were told that there should be one in the room, but maybe "something happened" and there wasn't one. Bathroom pocket door wouldn't stay closed, we had to prop it with a towel which didn't quite work. Room was humid and muggy no matter how high we cranked the air. Room was run- down and visibly stained, with peeling wallpaper and stained seats. The room had a smell like animals had stayed there recently. Hotel employees were not very friendly, and breakfast attendant was visibly irritated with people getting breakfast. Couldn't use the pool because it was constantly overrun by screaming people running and jumping and splashing excessively.

Property was nice and clean. Staff seemed unsure of a lot and would not give direct answers. Even checking in they said they had to see if they had a room available and made me wait 10 minutes…I had a reservation…?! I called for extra pillows for the couch pull out bed and their answer was that they had to see if any were available. They did show up with them eventually.
