Great place to stay. Great base for exploring the hills and gorges close by. We hiked most of out 5 days but others cycled or explored by car or motorbike. Dinner was exceptionally good. Staff were simply the friendliest and so helpful with advice.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. In beautiful surroundings with a rustic charm but with fantastic modern rooms. The staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for you and were bilingual, which was a big help for me. Effortlessly conversing in English and German. The bed was comfy, the shower amazing and the TV a nice big size. The restaurant was fabulous and every meal I had there was delicious. I loved the outside areas too, either cooling off in the pool, reading a book in the tranquil gardens or having a coffee next to the river. The perfect stay!

Soplau

Convenient location, clean, comfortable room and very friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately we have arrived just before 9pm due to a 3 hours traffic jam and by that time food was not available at the hotel. This was upsetting as the last thing we wanted to do was to explore the nearby villages for an open eatery. The following night however, we had an enjoyable supper in the hotel’s restaurant. Please note that some dishes are only available for pre-order, so if you wish to sample their “cassoulet”, which Im sure is excellent, you will need to pre-order it. Free parking is also available on-site.

I had a really great stay at this hotel. Everything was modern, clean, and comfortable. My room was lovely — very cozy bed, stylish bathroom, and even a fridge, which was super convenient. The whole place feels really well looked after. I stayed in autumn and it was so peaceful. There’s a beautiful little stream behind the hotel, and the pools and outdoor spaces look amazing — perfect for summer. The location is quiet and relaxing, though there aren’t many restaurants nearby. It’s about a 10-minute drive to Quillan. The staff were fantastic — really friendly, welcoming, and professional. The front desk service was excellent, and the waitress at the restaurant was lovely too. Parking on-site was easy and convenient. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the pools and sunshine!
