Everything was terrible and the staff was rude.They said all inclusive and some where apologizing for it not being available and what was available the staff was reluctant of you requesting it.poor quality food and watered down coffee or recycled. So much was terrible to much to write

Overall we enjoyed our stay. This is a Cuban 4* property so really more 3*. Our room was dated which i had expected as it is Cuba. The mattresses were comfortable and aircon worked well. I never got to have a hot shower the best it got for us was lukewarm. The food in the buffet was repetitive but edible. The steak restaurant as they called it was very average it is near the beach and has no doors so a family of stray very persistent cats hang around waiting for food scraps. Also it isn't steak it was a plate of chicken, pork and thin piece of minute like steak with some vegetables. Staff were hardworking and friendly. Pool and spa water both very very cold. Plenty of chairs available both at the beach and by the pool.

The room was very clean. The facilities and the location of the hotel are great. The buffet was excellent with a very good variety of food (also for vegetarians and vegans) and very good service. Generally we were very happy of our stay. The only negative point is that the rooms need to be upgraded a bit, especially the bathrooms.

This hotel is terrible. The rooms look straight out of 1970 unless you “upgrade”. Our room door didn’t lock for two days in a room so we needed no key. My fiancé’s backpack was stolen off the beach with money, identification and his phone and the hotel staff were not helpful and rolled their eyes after we filled out a report. There were no clean towels at the pool for us on any day as well as there were days the staff didn’t come to clean our room. The last thing to top it off was we were there for my brothers wedding and the staff spoke rudely in Spanish about the group and someone overheard. My brother and his partner were planning a wedding there for a year and brought 100 people to the resort to not have the wedding there. The wedding planner did nothing for them and said she didn’t know how to plan a gay wedding. I would never stay here again. Don’t waste your time or money.

You never informed us that you had problems with the front door, otherwise we could have offer you a solution immediately. The day the loss occurred you confirmed that the door was closing properly. We must point out that you did not notify us of any other inconvenience in your room during your stay. With regard to the wedding we must reaffirm that the hotel always had the disposition to make the wedding here, we gave them the best offer we could but apparently they found a better one in another place and decided to do it there. We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The rooms are pretty basic- but everything you need. Food was good. Something for everybody. The on site restaurants weren't much to write home about... we preferred to just eat at the buffet. We never went hungry. Strong drinks at the bars. The staff were WONDERFUL. Always smiling and so helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

I DON'T recommend this resort! I'm very disappointed in many ways. I'm Cuban but live in the US and decided to take my family out on vacation to this resort for the first time. It turns out that we were mistreated and discriminated against by the resort staff. Most of the staff were rude and had a nasty attituded towards us. Customer Service was awful and the place was not well kept. The front door didn't lock, the bathroom and balcony lights were out, and the beds were not comfortable. Other than that, I enjoyed the pool and the beach. No lo recomiendo!!!

Facilities are very good here. There was a problem with check in that I can’t seem to get help with. I cannot get access to an international line and it seems Expedia don’t deal with booking queries by email so I will have to wait until I get home to get this addressed. Was charged for a double booking.

Pros: Overall I had a positive experience. This was not only my first time to Cuba but my first time staying at an all inclusive resort. I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was really nice. Like others have said, it could’ve been cleaned a little better, and sometimes they did run out of towels but the staff acted promptly to ensure our needs were taken care of. Staff were lovely and helpful. The bellhop helped arrange a taxi and tour guide for us to explore outside of the resort. The hotel staff are much more knowledgeable about tours and helping you see non-touristy spots in the area than travel agencies are. The resort grounds were kept clean as was the beach. There is a free bus from the resort to Varadero that leaves 4 times per day which was great! We were able to see the rock night performance which was great. Very talented and engaging performers! The resort is family friendly, has programming for kids, and usually quiets down around 10-11 pm. Cons: The food was just ok. Decent selection at the buffet. My friends did get nasty food poisoning from undercooked lobster, but other than that it was alright. The medical clinic does not have bandaids and is very limited in what they can do. You’re better going to the international health clinic in Varadero for any medical needs that need testing.

The rooms were very old and need remodeling. In the buffet there were very few staff and minimal attention to us clients. Very poor attention. The entertainment shows were also very poor and need more variety and creativity.

WORST experience ever!
OMG, the experience is soooooo bad. When checking in, the register told us that due to some network problem, our booking from Expedia didn't succeed and then they kick off us to another hotel with a lower price and worse room condition with no ocean view (which should have according to booking confirmation). The manager promised us the hotel would order a free taxi for us to airport to compensate. BUT eventually, they didn't!!! I spent my whole day arguing with all kinds of staffs and I spent hundreds of dollars to come here but had nothing but an extremely terrible day. That's so sad. I highly recommend anyone who is willing to enjoy the beach and doesn't want to ruin your vacation like me DO NOT consider this hotel.

Great underrated hotel
Smaller hotel but very well maintained. Buffet though smaller than most hotels with less choices all the food was excellent taste and quality! The supper desert crepes were amazing! Our rooms were very clean and well maintained. Though they could use better pillows! Entartainment was average on act was not appropriate for family view but other than that loved the hotel.

1. Check in experience was terrible - only received bags (from storage) once told them we needed Medicine(for asthma) from bags 2. No hot water 3. Air conditioner not working - was only fixed after multiple requests 4. Food was of poor quality and dubious hygiene 5. Room was in very poor state of dis-repair- bathroom door almost impossible to close Positives 5. Beach is nice and pool area good 7. Staff are young and geared to young clientele

Budget Resort Hotel
Not the best, and probably not the worst hotel in Varadero. It is definitely a national rather than international hotel and you are left with the impression it was constructed to service Russians during the late soviet period and has not really evolved since the collapse of the USSR. The rooms are OK, the food is plentiful, but also relatively bland. For the price it is OK, and is suitable for a budget traveller / family.

Roc Arenas Doradas Hotel - All Inclusive
In my room I founded some roach and in the bathroom some hair of another person in the floor (never was clear during the time I was in that room). The food was good. At the bar, they don't have all the type of drinks you want drink at that time. At the Tour Excursion Office, if you have some Cuban Family with you, they can't go (forbidden) in the tour that you want to buy. Public restroom; no paper, no soap and dirty.

HORRIBLE HOTEL
I just want to say how disgusting this hotel is. there is no AC in the lobby and there is box AC in the rooms. It feels like I walked into the Bates motel. The service personnel were horrible and the costs are astronomical. This hotel is for Cuban Nationals and not for American tourists. The Roadway Inn in the US is better than this. I DID NOT STAY HERE AT ALL. There are better hotels in Varadero than this one.

Cadre très agréable mais nourriture décevante
Le concept de petits bâtiments espacés dans un cadre verdoyant rend cet hôtel beaucoup plus plaisant que ses voisins de Varadero. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables. Autre point positif : la plage est magnifique ! En revanche, la qualité de la nourriture laisse à désirer.

Большая территория, хорошие номера,веселая анимация, нормальная еда( мясо, морепродукты, фрукты, десерты, мороженное-всё в наличии и вкусно), приветливый персонал без вымогательства чаевых( мы проехали по всей Кубе и насмотрелись это в других отелях) и шикарный океан бирюзового цвета! Советую!!!

В общем понравилось
Большая симпатичная территория, хороший бассейн. Мебель в комнате старая, но прочная. Унитаз не работал, но правда подчинили с третьего раза. Еда хорошая и выбор большой.

너무 만족스러웠던 호텔. 비아술에서 10km 정도 떨어져 있습니다. 밤에는 20쿡~30쿡 정도 나옵니다.

En general fue buena, deben solo cuidar detalles de pintura o azulejos en mal estado. Lo demás bien, la comida buena también.

Muy buena la animación . Tal vez les falta un poco mas de servicio...como ser permitir el check in antes de las 16 cdo la habitación esta lista. Agregar variedad de frutas y postres. Pero en gral.muy bueno.
