Noisy kitchen staff, behind our room, on the main floor preparing the decent breakfast at 6am. You could rinse your feet in the shower, wash your hands in the sink and sit on the toilet all at once! Plastic mattress cover with no protector, just a sheet! Get a room upstairs if given the opportunity, location good.

Simply not completely clean, hair several places, the floor could also use a proper cleaning. Also very loud as it was right next to the reception. The people in the reception were nice and the breakfast was simple but good.

The first thing that struck me was how friendly and pleasant the staff were at check in. Then how excellently located the hotel is in the Walled City. Room is clean and a good size. There's a common balcony next to my room that is rarely used by guests and is lovely.

Lovely stay

The staff were wonderful - helped with our limited Spanish and were so patient with us. Booked a second night and they were so accommodating. The room was lovely and clean and breakfast was delicious! Location was super central and they kept our bags for us after check out which was really appreciated

Lovely, intimate historic hotel in walled city

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Santa Alejandria and would definitely return! The price was also excellent and includes made-to-order breakfast each morning. It's an old colonial building and the staff are warm and helpful. The location is excellent, as you can walk to anywhere within the walled city within about 10 minutes, and I felt very safe, as there's a locked gate at the front. I had a couple minor issues with my room--dripping AC, lack of bathroom shelf, etc.--but these were quickly addressed by the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and I had no issues at all with noise from the street. There's a big porch on the 2nd floor with lots of plants so you can sit outside if you'd like.
