“The beach view from the room was truly surrealistically beautiful. The staff were also very kind and I was really touched when they asked if I needed water while carrying my luggage to the taxi after check-out. The level of service that can take care of guests even when they leave is a kindness that is not easily found even in luxury hotels. The breakfast was also excellent, and it was nice to have it in the room while enjoying the beach view. The room was also very clean and the bedding was...

“The staff is what sets this hotel apart -- helpful at every turn. It is in a very convenient yet quiet location that is suitable both for transit on short day trips within the Basque region as well as most of the old town sites. Terrace access was a nice touch for the top floor rooms. Overall, very pleased with the hospitality and comfort and attentive staff.”

“The personal was very helpful, rooms kind of small but nice and clean. Breakfast excellent!”

“Never stayed in a room this small before. The bathroom was a joke. I'm 5'8" and whilst sitting on the toilet, my knees touched the wall in front. No space to dry yourself after a shower. Two single beds occupied much of the room with only a small gap between them. View from bedroom was the back of other buildings surrounding it. Cost was eye watering for what we got and no breakfast provided. The owner, Inaki, was very pleasant but our overall feeling was that we had been conned.”
