Right on the beach, exactly where you would want to wake up in Castara. More of a quiet part of the beach, but the busy market and restaurants are in a few minutes walking distance. Amazing staff, we really felt like home.

Amazing place in Castara. Our room was directly on the beach. Amazing facilities and a wonderful host. Wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely return. This hotel and the host were the best part of our week in Tobago.

Beautiful Spot on the Caribbean

Our balcony had a view of the beach. We could snorkel from the beach, and we were able to hire a young man to take us fishing and snorkeling at nearby beaches. It was a very relaxing stay. Good breakfasts! ATM didn’t accept our cards, so bring plenty of local cash.

Our spacious clean room had air conditioning, but no glass on the windows. Wooden slats and heavy drapes. You can listen to the surf all night long. The view from the decks (we had 2) was amazing. The sea is so beautiful. We were right on the beach and close to the restaurants. Their is no shuttle, but taxis are available at the airport. ($55 US) Once you arrive, the hotel owner, Ansel, will help arrange transportation and tours. One of many highlights was eating fresh fish for breakfast that Ansel had caught the night before.

Rustic apartments in a fantastic location

We had a lovely stay - the apartments are set at one end of a lovely beach. Some are newer than others and we thought Wahoo must be one of the best for views, privacy and location. Ancle and Tracey were helpful and friendly - nothing was a problem which made our holiday very relaxing. They have provided everything you could need for a self catering holiday - including a microwave, mini toaster/oven, coffee machine, full size fridge freezer, oven & gas hob, electric can opener and a widescreen TV. I can't believe someone rated it as poor and gave it 1*. It's not 5* accommodation but doesn't pretend to be. OK there are a few small maintenance issues but the staff attended to these and the location, views and facilities more than compensated for a few minor niggles. Thank you Ancle - we will be back.
