"Amelia was an amazing host and provided great service. She has a very beautiful yard that’s gated for better security. The room had a big comfy king size bed with ac, tv, fridge and a rooftop patio facing the ocean. The location was nice and close to restaurants and downtown Varadero. She’s got a lovely little dog that’s nice to hang out with. I’d highly recommend staying with her. It’s your own private apartment connected to her house but you don’t hear anything. It feels like your own place!"

She is a great host, the room and common spaces were very clean. The location is great for shopping, groceries, restaurants, and across the street from beach access. "On the first day all my money and my coat got stolen, it was to hard to find proper food close by, hard to communicate, no wifi, hard to find a bank and no banks take Canadian cards, can only exchange at airport, the host was painting the building and I got paint on my clothes that didn’t come out, there was a cockroach in my room, bed was very uncomfortable "

"Absolutely lovely space, we stayed here in Feb 2024 and can't wait to return! The room was spacious with a king size bed and had a large bathroom with twin sinks, soaker tub and a gorgeous tiled shower. Swimming is close by maybe 200m, in a sheltered bay. It's a public beach, but quiet. There is no lifeguard. Restaurants are close by, within 800m so an easy walk, but our host Jiscily makes such a wonderful breakfast that we gladly paid the extra. There is no scheduled garbage pickup in Boca, apparently, so don't be surprised if you see garbage on the streets, watch your step. There are foot washing areas near the entrance so you don't need to track sand upstairs. Thank you Olga and Jiscily for a terrific stay!"
