"This is a hidden gem! Patrick welcomes you warmly and makes you feel right at home. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The quiet and beauty of the gardens adds to the pleasure. "Great location just off the motorway, very efficient check in and although the meal we had was expensive for what appeared to be a microwave dish, we were happy as a family to have it available. The room was large, two separate bedrooms and a huge bathroom. Warm, clean and comfortable."

"Booked and paid in JANUARY. Arrived 16:00 (check-in allegedly from 14:00). Place was locked; could not make anyone hear us. Waited 30 minutes before finding another hotel. Had also booked dinner but the sign outside said the restaurant was closed on Tuesday (the day of our stay). Contacted hotels.com to request full refund - this was apparently refused by the hotel (though hotels.com personnel said they couldn’t really communicate with hotel very well as the staff there only spoke French. Er… it’s a French hotel!!!). Eventually given £25 in award points - well under half what we had paid five months earlier! VERY unhappy with the whole situation!"
